Using the Stock Screener

Set your rules and let the screener find stocks that match.

What the Screener Does

The Screener page is like a search engine for stocks. Instead of googling "good stocks to buy," you set specific rules and the screener shows you every stock that matches. It checks thousands of stocks in seconds.

You can filter by price, volume, company size, sector, TrustScore, pillar scores, and many financial numbers. The more filters you add, the fewer — but more targeted — results you get.

How to Set Filters

Start by clicking the filter options at the top of the screener. Each filter lets you set a minimum, maximum, or both. For example, you might want stocks with an TrustScore above 65 and a market cap above $1 billion.

A good starter approach: begin with just 2-3 filters. If you get too many results (hundreds), add another filter to narrow it down. If you get zero results, remove a filter or widen your ranges.

Reading the Results

Results show up as a table. Each row is a stock that passed all your filters. You can click any column header to sort — by TrustScore, price change, market cap, or whatever matters most to you.

Click on any stock in the results to jump to its Analysis page for the full breakdown. The screener finds candidates — the analysis page helps you decide.

Tier Limits and Presets

Higher-tier plans return more results per screen. On the free plan, results are capped, so a large screen may show only a portion of the matches — upgrading reveals the rest.

You can save your favorite filter combinations as presets so you don't have to rebuild them every time. This is especially useful if you run the same screen every week to find new opportunities.

Screen Ideas to Try

Here are three screens to get you started:

  • Quality bargains: TrustScore above 65 + Quality pillar above 70 + Valuation pillar above 60. Finds financially strong companies at reasonable prices.
  • Growth leaders: Growth pillar above 75 + Momentum pillar above 60 + Market cap above $5B. Finds big companies growing fast with positive price action.
  • Income stocks: Dividend yield above 3% + Quality pillar above 60. Finds companies that pay good dividends and are financially healthy enough to keep paying them.

Key Takeaways

  • The screener checks thousands of stocks against your rules in seconds.
  • Start with 2-3 filters and add more to narrow results.
  • Click any result to jump to the full Analysis page.
  • Save filter presets to run the same screen quickly each week.
  • Higher-tier plans return more results per screen; the free plan is capped.
