Using the AI Chart Analyst

Get AI-powered insights right next to your charts.

What Is the Chart Analyst?

The AI Chart Analyst is a panel that lives right next to your price chart on the Analysis page. Instead of switching between charts and research notes, you see both at the same time — the chart on the left and AI commentary on the right.

It reads the same chart you see and highlights patterns, support and resistance levels, trend direction, and momentum shifts. Think of it as having a technical analyst sitting next to you, pointing at the chart and explaining what they see.

How to Open the Chart Analyst

On the Analysis page, search for any stock and scroll to the chart section. You'll see a toggle or button labeled "AI Analyst" near the chart controls. Click it to open the side panel.

The panel opens to the right of your chart. Both the chart and the analyst panel stay visible so you can follow along as the AI points out key areas.

What the Analyst Shows You

The AI analyst panel displays several types of insights:

  • Trend Direction: Whether the stock is in an uptrend, downtrend, or trading sideways.
  • Pattern Markers: Triangles, channels, double tops, head-and-shoulders, and other chart patterns overlaid directly on the chart.
  • Key Levels: Important support and resistance prices where the stock has bounced or stalled before.
  • Momentum Reading: Whether buying or selling pressure is increasing or fading, based on volume and price action.
  • Trade Thesis: A plain-English summary of what the chart suggests — for example, "Bullish breakout above $150 with rising volume confirms uptrend continuation."

Switching Timeframes and Chart Types

The Chart Analyst works with every chart type TickerTrust offers — Candlestick, Heikin-Ashi, Renko, and Point & Figure. When you switch chart types, the AI re-analyzes using the new view.

You can also change timeframes (1D, 1W, 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y). Shorter timeframes are better for short-term trades. Longer timeframes show the bigger trend. The AI adjusts its analysis to match your selected timeframe.

Tier Access

Free users can view the chart but the AI Analyst panel requires a Starter plan or above. Pro and Elite users get more detailed pattern analysis, probability estimates, and multi-timeframe confluence signals.

If you see a lock icon on the Analyst toggle, upgrading your plan will unlock it. Check the subscription page to compare plans.
