How to Use TrustAI

Get the most out of your AI-powered analysis assistant.

What Is TrustAI?

TrustAI is your personal analysis assistant built into TickerTrust. You type questions in plain English and it responds with data-backed answers — stock evaluations, market summaries, risk assessments, and more.

Think of it as a research analyst that never sleeps. It can pull live data, run calculations, and explain complex financial concepts in simple terms.

Step 1: Open the AI Chat

Click "TrustAI" in the main sidebar to open the chat page. You'll see a welcome screen with quick action buttons and a text input at the bottom.

If this is your first visit, the welcome screen shows what TrustAI can do at your current tier. Higher tiers unlock more powerful capabilities like portfolio planning and institutional data.

Step 2: Try a Quick Action

The fastest way to get started is with the six quick action buttons at the top:

  • Market Summary: Get a snapshot of what's happening in the market right now.
  • Top Movers: See which stocks are moving the most today and why.
  • Sector Analysis: Compare how different sectors are performing.
  • Trade Ideas: Get AI-generated trade ideas based on current market conditions.
  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate the risk level of a stock or your portfolio.
  • Earnings Calendar: See upcoming earnings reports that could move prices.

Step 3: Ask Your Own Questions

Type any question in the text box and press Ctrl+Enter (or click the send button). TrustAI understands natural language, so write the way you normally would. Here are some effective prompts:

  • "Should I buy NVDA right now?" — Gets a buy/hold/sell verdict with conviction level.
  • "Why does AAPL have a score of 72?" — Breaks down the TrustScore pillar by pillar.
  • "What happened to MSFT today?" — Explains recent price movements and news.
  • "Compare AAPL vs MSFT fundamentals" — Side-by-side comparison of key metrics.

Step 4: Work With Responses

AI responses appear as formatted messages with tables, lists, and highlighted data. You can interact with each response:

  • Copy: Click the copy icon to copy the full response text.
  • Regenerate: Click the refresh icon on an AI message to get a different answer.
  • Delete: Remove a message from your conversation history.
  • Stock links: When the AI mentions a ticker symbol, click it to jump to the analysis page.

Step 5: Manage Your History

Your conversations are saved automatically so you can come back later. Each session gets its own conversation thread. To start fresh, click the "Clear" button in the top-right corner.

Keep an eye on your daily request counter shown on the page — each tier has a daily limit. If you're running low, focus on the questions that matter most.

Key Takeaways

  • Start with quick action buttons to see TrustAI in action before typing custom prompts.
  • Write questions in plain English — the AI understands natural language.
  • Be specific: "Should I buy NVDA?" works better than "What do you think about stocks?"
  • Use copy, regenerate, and delete to manage your conversation.
  • Watch your daily request limit and prioritize your most important questions.
