The Digital Assets Dashboard
The Crypto page gives you a real-time overview of the cryptocurrency market. It covers market sentiment, top coin prices, order book depth, and the biggest movers of the day — all in one place.
You don't need to own any cryptocurrency to use this page. It's a research and analysis tool, just like the stock analysis features in TickerTrust.
Step 1: Read the Market Sentiment
At the top of the page, you'll see the Fear & Greed Index. This is a single number from 0 to 100 that measures the overall mood of the crypto market:
- •0-24: Extreme Fear — Investors are very worried. Historically, this can be a buying opportunity.
- •25-49: Fear — Caution is high but not extreme.
- •50-74: Greed — Optimism is building. Prices may be getting stretched.
- •75-100: Extreme Greed — Everyone is euphoric. Caution: markets often correct after extreme greed.
Step 2: Check the Market Stats
Below the sentiment gauge, four cards show key market numbers:
- •Total Market Cap: The total value of all cryptocurrencies combined.
- •24h Volume: How much crypto was traded in the last 24 hours. High volume means more activity.
- •BTC Dominance: Bitcoin's share of the total market. When BTC dominance rises, money is flowing into Bitcoin. When it falls, money is spreading to smaller coins ("altcoins").
- •ETH Dominance: Ethereum's share. Together with BTC dominance, this tells you where the market's attention is focused.
Step 3: Review Top Cryptocurrencies
The price cards section shows the 8 major cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, Polygon, Chainlink, Uniswap, and Aave. Each card shows the current price, 24-hour price change, and a trend indicator.
Use these cards as a quick health check. If most are green, the market is generally up. If most are red, it's a down day. Click "View All" to see an expanded list.
Step 4: Read the Order Book Depth
The depth charts for BTC/USD and ETH/USD show buy orders (bids) on the left and sell orders (asks) on the right. This visualization updates every few seconds.
A thick wall of green bids means strong buying support at that price. A thick wall of red asks means heavy selling pressure. If bids are much larger than asks, it suggests buying demand is stronger — and vice versa.
Step 5: Spot the Movers
At the bottom, the Market Movers section lists the top gainers and top losers of the day with their percentage changes. This is useful for spotting which coins are getting attention.
Be cautious with large movers — a 30% spike in a small coin might be driven by hype rather than fundamentals. Always research before acting on big moves.
