How to Manage Your Account

Set up your profile, choose your plan, and customize your experience.

Getting to Settings

Click "Settings" in the main sidebar (or the gear icon) to open the settings page. You'll see tabs across the top: Profile, Subscription, Connection, and Feedback. Each tab controls a different part of your account.

Step 1: Set Up Your Profile

The Profile tab is where you personalize your account. You can set your display name, add a short bio, and choose how you heard about TickerTrust.

Below that, you'll find two important settings:

  • Appearance: Choose Light mode, Dark mode, or System (matches your device). Dark mode is easier on the eyes during late-night research sessions.
  • Trading Mode: "Analytics Only" shows just the analysis tools. "Full Decision Loop" adds paper trading and reflection features. Choose Full Decision Loop to get the complete experience.

Step 2: Configure Notifications

Still in the Profile tab, scroll down to notification preferences. You can toggle different alert types on or off:

  • Trade Alerts: Get notified when your paper trade positions hit key levels.
  • Screener Alerts: Notifications when stocks match your screener filters.
  • Score Change Alerts: Know when a stock's TrustScore changes significantly.
  • Market Event Alerts: Upcoming earnings, dividends, and economic data.
  • SMS Alerts (Pro+): Get text messages for time-sensitive alerts.
  • Weekly AI Report (Elite): A weekly AI-generated summary of your portfolio and market trends.

Step 3: Manage Your Subscription

Click the Subscription tab to see your current plan and what each tier offers. TickerTrust has four tiers:

  • Free ($0): Basic analysis, limited paper trading, delayed data, and TrustAI's 22 MCP tools.
  • Starter ($24.95/mo): Full TrustScore breakdown, real-time data, backtesting, more paper trades.
  • Pro ($49.95/mo): AI-powered signals, expanded paper trading, and a higher daily TrustAI-question budget.
  • Elite ($99.95/mo): Portfolio advisor, institutional data, highest limits.

Step 4: Compare Features

The subscription page includes a feature comparison table that shows exactly what each tier includes. Scroll through it to see which features matter most to you before upgrading.

You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle. If you have a promo or beta access code, enter it in the "Access Code Redemption" section at the bottom of the subscription tab.

Step 5: Connect Your Data

The Connection tab lets you set up broker API connections for syncing your portfolio data into TickerTrust. This is for data import only — TickerTrust does not execute trades on your behalf.

Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your broker account. Once connected, your real holdings can be analyzed alongside your paper trades for a complete picture of your portfolio.

Key Takeaways

  • Set your display name and choose Dark mode for comfortable late-night use.
  • Select "Full Decision Loop" trading mode to access paper trading and reflection.
  • Configure notification preferences to stay on top of market events and score changes.
  • Compare tier features before upgrading — pick the plan that fits your needs.
  • Use the Connection tab to sync broker data for portfolio analysis.
